Cross Creek Church in Jamestown, Kentucky, is prayerfully seeking a Christ-centered and mission-minded Lead Minister excited about relational discipleship, teaching the Word, and engaging the community.
This role is a natural fit for those with theological training from an accredited seminary or university with a heart for Restoration Movement theology, congregational ministry, and church growth. With our founding minister recently retired due to health reasons, we are seeking a leader who wants to help shape the next chapter of this congregation’s ministry. Open to new or recent graduates, this is a unique opportunity to step into a supportive, ready-to-grow congregation that supports ongoing development opportunities for our new minister to continue to grow spiritually and professionally.
Ideal Candidates Will:
- Preach and teach with biblical depth and practical relevance, committed to Biblical authority
- Enjoy building relationships across generations, showing their love for Jesus by loving people
- Work alongside elders, leadership board, ministry team volunteers, and administrative staff
- Approach ministry with humility, creativity, and teamwork
- Continue a community presence of the church beyond the walls of the physical building with engagement activities and programs
- Inspire and motivate members to use their gifts and talents for God and the betterment of the church
- Undergo and pass standard criminal and child protection background checks
Ministry Responsibilities Include:
- Weekly preaching, invitation, and communion.
- Pastoral care
- Local outreach
- Ministry development
- Weddings/funerals
- Engaging with both church and community.

Compensation:
Package of $30,000–$50,000 depending on experience/needs, including salary, housing allowance, and health considerations, in a safe and affordable community.
