Children's Director/Minister

We’re accepting applications for a full-time or part-time Children’s Director/Minister positions. The full-time position may also include helping lead the church’s social media and communications, depending on the candidate’s experience, gifts, and the needs of the church. 

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all Children’s Ministry (birth-5th grade) programming, ensuring excellence and alignment with the mission of Oak Lane Christian Church.
• Oversee volunteer recruitment, training, and scheduling.
• Collaborate with church staff to ensure teamwork and support of church-wide initiatives through unified ministry effort.

Qualifications:

Personal:

• Baptized believer who is in theological alignment with Oak Lane and our Statement of Beliefs

Professional:

• Passion for Children’s Ministry and Christian education
• Proficiency with modern computer programs (Canva, Google Docs, Email)

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred, with preference given to those with degrees in Ministry, Education, Human Services, or related fields
