The Pulpit Committee of Refuge Christian Church is prayerfully seeking a full-time Senior Pastor to lead and shepherd our congregation. Who We Are
Refuge Christian Church is a congregationally governed fellowship of believers who confess Jesus Christ as the Son of God, have repented of their sins, and have been baptized into Christ by immersion. We strive to follow the Bible alone as our authority for faith and practice, believing God's Word to be sufficient for every need (2 Timothy 3:16-17).
Position Overview
We are seeking a full-time Senior Pastor who:
- Preaches and teaches the Word of God faithfully and effectively.
- Provides spiritual leadership and pastoral care to the congregation.
- Works cooperatively with the Church Board, Elders, and ministry committees.
- Encourages discipleship and spiritual growth among believers.
- Possesses a heart for evangelism and outreach to the community.
- Is willing to lead with humility, biblical conviction, and a servant's spirit.
- Has experience and a desire to minister to all age groups and across all phases of church life.
Preference will be given to candidates who have demonstrated pastoral experience and who possess a passion for developing ministries that reach children, youth, families, adults, and seniors alike.
