Position Title: Kids Team Pastor
Location: New London Christian Church, New London, IA
Position Summary: The Kids Team Pastor disciples, equips, and supports volunteer teams who serve children and families, providing spiritual leadership, relational, and practical training. Guided by our vision to see families sharing Jesus and sharing life, this role helps carry out our mission to help kids pursue God and pursue relationships by partnering with parents, fostering meaningful Small Group connections, and creating bridges into the community. The Kids Team Pastor works to ensure teams are healthy, prepared, and aligned with the church’s vision for ministry to kids and families.
The ideal candidate will love and seek Christ above all, love people, have a shepherding heart, and will be a team player, highly organized, a friendly and consistent presence on Sundays, and experienced with tools like Planning Center, Google Drive, and more. Qualifications: Preferred but not restricted to at least two years of Bible college education and/or two years of ministry experience. Proven ability to recruit, disciple, and multiply volunteer leaders and teams.
