Webber Street Christian Church is prayerfully seeking a pastor who loves Jesus and has a passion for sharing His gospel. Our congregation has a long and faithful history in Champaign-Urbana, but we know God is calling us into a new chapter. We are eager for a shepherd who will walk with us, encourage us, and help us grow in Christ and in number.
Our worship is a blend of traditional and contemporary, reflecting both our heritage and our desire to reach the next generation. Being in the heart of Urbana, just minutes from the University of Illinois, we are uniquely positioned to serve a diverse community filled with students, families, and neighbors.
We’re searching for a pastor who will:
- Preach the Word of God clearly and faithfully.
- Care for and walk alongside people through life’s joys and challenges.
- Encourage growth in discipleship, service, and outreach.
- Partner with our church family to reach the community with the love of Christ.
- Lead with humility, vision, and a heart for people.
We’d love if you have:
- A strong personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
- A love for preaching and teaching Scripture.
- Experience in pastoral care and leadership.
- A heart for evangelism and church growth.
- Ministry of training or experience (formal education is appreciated but not required).

Webber Street Christian Church has stood as a light in this community for generations. We are a smaller church with a big heart and a deep desire to see God move in Urbana-Champaign again.
