Impact Kids Director – Helping Kids & Families Know, Love, and Follow Jesus

Impact Christian Church | Moon Township, PA (Near Pittsburgh International Airport)

Do you believe children’s ministry is foundational to the mission of the church—not just a Sunday program?

Are you passionate about helping kids and families grow as disciples of Jesus, equipping parents, and developing volunteers who are actively engaged in their own faith journey?

If you feel called to build more than environments—and instead help shape a discipleship pathway for kids, families, and volunteers—this role may be what God is inviting you into.

About Impact Christian Church
Impact Christian Church is a growing, Christ-centered church of 600–700 in-person attendees with a strong online presence, located in Moon Township near Pittsburgh International Airport. Our mission is simple and deeply intentional:

Helping people know, love, and follow Jesus
For the Impact Kids Director, that mission is lived out by helping kids and families know, love, and follow Jesus—together.

What Makes Impact Unique:

  • Discipleship-Focused: Everything we do flows through a clear Growth Track (Explore → Partner → Builder)
  • Family-Oriented Ministry: We believe parents are the primary spiritual influencers in a child’s life
  • Healthy Culture: We value integrity, excellence, teamwork, humility, and spiritual maturity
  • Kingdom Vision: Our heart is to see a kingdom-building movement across the Airport Seven school districts

Why This Role Matters

Form Faith Early:
You’ll lead a ministry that helps children encounter Jesus in age-appropriate, gospel-centered, and relationally engaging ways—laying a foundation for lifelong faith.

Develop Disciples, Not Just Volunteers:
Volunteers in Impact Kids aren’t just serving—they’re growing. You’ll help every volunteer engage with the Growth Track, discover their God-given design, and find their fit as Kingdom Builders.

Partner with Parents:
This role equips and supports parents as they disciple their children at home, while also helping families connect into the broader life and mission of the church.

Build Something Lasting:
This isn’t about maintaining rooms or schedules—it’s about creating a discipleship ecosystem where kids, families, and volunteers take intentional next steps toward spiritual maturity and mission.

The Role

As Impact Kids Director, you will provide vision, leadership, and direction for children’s ministry from Nursery through 5th grade. You’ll oversee weekend environments, develop leaders, and intentionally align kids ministry with Impact’s Growth Track, helping families move from connection to participation to Kingdom-building engagement.

  • Partner with parents to help them pastor their children spiritually and take next steps as a family
  • Create clear pathways for kids ministry volunteers and families to connect into the broader life of the church
  • Collaborate with staff and ministry leaders to support family discipleship and church-wide alignment
  • Lead special events and moments that reinforce faith formation, community, and mission
