About our opening:
FCC Kokomo has recently undergone staffing transitions due to the retirement of the long-term pastor. While the legacy of the church remains in place, a fresh vision has brought in a significant number of new families into our fellowship. We recently transitioned from doing two distinct services (traditional and contemporary), to a single blended service. As part of that transition, we have invested heavily in in updating software, sound, and even instruments (moving from a drum cage to a high-end electric set). We have a strong team in place, and have recently benefited from adding several highly talented musicians and vocalists that are new to the church.
Our livestream is a very big work in progress (IE it’s a mess), and the person in this role will help us work through turning that part of our experience into a positive.
Additionally, our youth ministry has been overseen by present staff that are filling the role temporarily. In the past couple of months, the size of our youth ministry has tripled, with the primary growth coming mostly from the Jr. High group. In our minds, this becomes an incredibly opportune time to develop a strong ministry foundation for years to come. We currently have a school that is meeting in our building, and we have several high school coaches, teachers, and administrators in our congregation, that currently reaches four different school systems.
This is a great time to come onto staff in a church that has a reach of almost 90,000 people, that is physically positioned well, and that has a fresh vision and current momentum. We also have a strong staff in place that is team-oriented, and that does ministry together. We spend A LOT of time together, and that’s the way we like it.
If you have experience, passion, and a clear calling to ministry, please send a cover letter and resume to [email protected]. If you don’t hear back within two weeks of your submission, we have moved forward with other applicants.
Applications due by Nov 30, 2025.
