Chestnut Level Christian Church is a small rural independent nondenominational congregation in Belmont, Ohio. We believe Christ is the head of the Church, and the Bible is the Word of God. Therefore, the congregation of believers look only to the Bible as the final authority on life and salvation. The Bible is our sole guide and source of knowledge concerning God himself, revealed through his Word and through his Son, Christ Jesus- God in the flesh. The facility is fairly new and has many amenities such as a basement, baptistry, outdoor pavilion, office, nursery area and more.
Job Description:
Chestnut Level Christian Church is seeking a dedicated and passionate Minister to lead our church community. We are looking for someone who can inspire growth, enhance outreach efforts, and maintain a strong focus on biblical truths.
Key Responsibilities:
Spiritual Leadership: Provide inspiring sermons and teachings that are rooted in biblical truths.
Community Outreach: Develop and implement outreach programs to engage the local community and attract new members.
Pastoral Care: Offer pastoral care and counseling to congregation members, addressing their spiritual and emotional needs.
Church Growth: Create strategies to foster growth within the congregation, both spiritually and numerically.
Event Coordination: Organize and oversee church events, including worship services, bible studies, and community activities.
Collaboration: Work closely with church leadership and volunteers to achieve the church's mission and vision.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Theology, Divinity, or a related field (Master's preferred).
Experience: Previous experience in ministry, particularly in a rural or small church setting, or new graduate.
Skills: Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills. Ability to connect with people of all ages and backgrounds.
Personal Attributes: Compassionate, approachable, and committed to living out biblical principles.
