Delphi Christian Church is a small (30-40 attendees), independent Christian Church governed by a Board of Elders, Deacons, and Trustees. After fifteen years of service our current pastor is looking to retire. We are interviewing for a part-time (approximately 20 hours per week) Pastor who will also have the opportunity to work a second job if he so wishes.
Our local school system provides opportunities for substitute teaching, tutoring, driving a bus, etc. which would also allow our candidate opportunities to be involved within the community. We also have a number of local businesses with employment opportunities.
Expectations/responsibilities include:
- Conduct Sunday services and other ministerial functions.
- Participate in community functions on behalf of the church.
- Coordinate special services with the staff or board and program chairmen.
Compensation annual package will be in the range of $32,000-$35,000 annually.
This is an excellent opportunity for a young graduate to gain experience and be mentored by an experienced pastor. This is also an opportunity for an older pastor who would like to "retire" to part-time.
