Our current preaching minister will be retiring so we are starting the process of finding the right person to fill that vacancy. He is the gatekeeper for not only most of the daily operations of the church but for providing spiritual guidance and a weekly message as the "preacher" for a small-town church with an average attendance around 90 people.
The position consists of, but not limited to:
- Filling the pulpit on a weekly basis
- Handling the day-to-day operations and physical needs of the church and church property
- Leading the congregation in a personal understanding of the gospel
- Leading adult Sunday School classes
- Directing Bible studies
- Meeting and visiting with the sick and homebound
- Providing an overall direction for the church
