Family Life Minister

The main responsibilities of the Family Minster will be in the areas of Children’s and Youth Ministries (Kindergarten through 12th grade).

Administrate Children’s Worship each Sunday morning

• “Spark” Children’s Worship is for children between ages 3-10 and takes place during Sunday Worship service. 
• Candidate will need to: encourage, equip, recruit and retain volunteers.

Traction Student Ministries: Plan, implement, and evaluate Traction meetings

• Our Traction Student Ministry accommodates students from 6th-12th grades and meets on a weekly basis from August-May (alongside the local school year). The Family Life Minister will work with a team of volunteers to ensure spiritual training of our students.

Develop Outreach to the youth in the community

• Once a month organize, plan, and evaluate an outreach program for youth to invite un-churched friends to attend.

Organize spiritual growth opportunities for the youth to take advantage 

• As needed, plan and coordinate opportunities that includes but not limited to: VBS, mission trips, camps, retreats, etc.

Establish and monitor spiritual benchmarks for the youth

• Present age-appropriate spiritual goals for youth to reach. This may include but not limited to: confirmation classes, lessons on baptism, lessons on the plan of salvation, etc.
