Spiritual Direction
Discovery Ministries is first and foremost a battleground, where soldiers of the King are forged and clad with the armor of God. Interns are paired with a staff mentor and practice debriefing, journalling, and Scripture study.
Wilderness Training
Interns will develop hard skills related to outdoor leadership and soft skills related to group dynamics. In addition, interns will join the staff in promoting DM's mission and physical maintenance.
Leadership Development
Interns become teachers here, and teachers must practice what they teach by enduring their own intense experiences. Since they are instructors-in-training, interns will be charged with pushing themselves and participants toward spiritual, mental and physical growth.
