The Worship Leader is a part-time position whose responsibility is to be the leader/mentor to the musicians, vocalists, tech team, and all other creative arts volunteers. The Worship Leader will provide leadership, vision, purpose, and passion for MTTC in the area of worship ministries that is in line with the overall vision, purpose, and mission of MTTC. This currently includes the planning, leading, and oversight of our two Sunday worship services, but would also include the addition of new services or special services.
As the Church continues to mature spirituality and grow, we anticipate this position to broaden and develop.
Responsibilities
Worship:
- Work with the Lead Pastor and worship team to plan the worship services.
- Lead or coordinate the musical and creative portions of services.
- Maintain the process to regularly identify and develop new volunteers for worship ministry.
- Disciple, manage, and care for volunteers on the worship team.
- Develop an annual budget for the worship and technology ministries and work within those budgets.
- Oversee the Church’s tech ministry.
- Attend Church staff meetings and retreats if possible.
- Oversee the maintenance of all musical instruments and technology owned by the Church.
- Able to adapt/enhance the worship style that fits in the MTTC culture.

- Willing to have fun and not take themselves too seriously.

- Highly motivated and action-oriented.
- Stay engaged (mentor) the Rooted Worship team.
