About Us
Countryside Christian Church is located just outside the city limits of Kirksville, MO. We are seeking a passionate and visionary pastor to lead our congregation. Our congregation includes college age students and many families with young children along with many retired people and we typically see 100 each Sunday. If you are dedicated to spiritual growth, community engagement, dedicated to prayer, and honoring the Bible, consider being part of our family.
Qualifications -
Below are the qualifications we are looking for our new pastor to meet:
- A Committed believer in Jesus Christ
- Grounded in the study of the Bible and prayer
- A degree in Theology, Biblical Studies, or a related field from an accredited institution
- Proven experience in pastoral ministry, spiritual leadership, and community engagement
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in organizational and administrative tasks
Responsibilities -
Here is a non-exhaustive list of the responsibilities and duties the pastor of Countryside Christian Church must fill:
- Deliver engaging, Spirit-filled sermons that align with our doctrinal beliefs found on our website: http://www.countrysidekv.com/welcome
- Coordinate Sunday worship services, including Sunday school for kids through adults, working closely with the worship team, staff, Sunday school teachers, and leadership team
- Coordinate midweek services with staff and leadership team
- Provide pastoral care and counseling to congregation members in times of need
- Collaborate with staff and volunteers to ensure the smooth operation of church ministries
